Slack and Social Media

Details

We announce all of our campaigns on Slack, so we recommend joining us there.

You can also follow us on social media: Movement Labs (ML) Twitter, ML Facebook page, Contest Every Race (CER) Twitter, and CER Facebook page.

Slack

Slack is a messaging platform that organizes conversations into channels. When you join our Slack community you’ll be added automatically to our #announcements channel (amongst other channels). Our #announcements channel is where we post new campaigns and other important updates. Enable notifications for this channel if you want to know about campaigns as soon as they go live.

You’ll also be added to:

  • the #questions channel, where you can ask questions about Spoke or the current campaign(s)
  • the #events channel, where we post upcoming events like the texter trainings, monthly volunteer huddle, and more.
  • the #chit-chat channel, where you can interact with other volunteers on what's going on in their lives.
  • the #lets-talk-about-it channel, where you can join the conversation around the discussion board post created by one of our amazing super volunteers weekly (new posts go up on Mondays).

We also have a private #research channel for Contest Every Race research volunteers. Ask to be added in #questions if you're new to research!

Facebook

We also post things in our Facebook group that you might be interested in.
